JER Partners’ primary business lines include the private equity real estate investment business, which specializes in managing and providing discretionary investment advice to private funds that invest in real estate and real estate related investments that are primarily owned by third party investors through interests in funds structured by JER Partners. Since 1997, JER Partners has managed eight funds in the U.S and Europe with more than $4 billion of equity commitments from prominent investors domiciled in the U.S., Canada, Europe and the Middle East. Through these funds JER Partners, together with its financial partners, has purchased over 12,000 individual assets in more than 175 separate transactions with a gross investment in excess of $18 billion.

JER Partners also invests in CMBS, mezzanine financing and other structured debt products and was a Special Servicer of commercial mortgage debt and securities for 20 years. During this period, the firm was engaged as Special Servicer in the U.S. to more than 50 CMBS transactions with a combined par value in excess of $60 billion.

The investment management team is supported by a deep operational infrastructure that includes full-time, in-house risk management, legal, capital markets and client relations, finance and accounting, human resources, technology and other professionals dedicated to supporting the company’s investment management activities.
